Getting Started

Installation Guide

Complete step-by-step guide to installing Ferdium on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

Windows:

  1. Download the Ferdium installer from the official website
  2. Run the .exe installer file
  3. Follow the installation wizard
  4. Launch Ferdium from your Start menu

macOS:

  1. Download the .dmg file for macOS
  2. Open the downloaded file and drag Ferdium to Applications
  3. Open Ferdium from Applications (you may need to allow it in Security settings)

Linux:

  1. Download the AppImage, .deb, or .rpm package
  2. For AppImage: Make it executable (chmod +x) and run
  3. For .deb: Install with sudo dpkg -i
  4. For .rpm: Install with sudo rpm -i

Initial Setup

How to Add Services

Adding services to Ferdium is simple and straightforward. Here's how:

  2. 2. Search for your service in the search bar. Ferdium supports 100+ popular services
  3. 3. Click on the service you want to add from the search results
  4. 4. Give your service instance a name (useful if you'll add the same service multiple times)
  5. 5. Sign in to your service account within Ferdium

  • You can add the same service multiple times for different accounts

  • Can't find a service? Create a custom service with just a URL

Setting Up Workspaces

Workspaces help you organize your services by context. Here's a complete guide:

Creating a Workspace:

  1. 1. Click on the workspace selector (top of sidebar)
  2. 2. Click "Add Workspace" or the + icon

Creating Custom Services

  3. Step 3: Enter the service URL (e.g., https://example.com)
  4. Step 4: Optionally add an icon URL or choose from predefined icons
  5. Step 5: Save and start using your custom service!
